Kia Oil Filter – 2Y500

Description

The Kia/Hyundai Oil Filter – 2Y500 is a compact, spin-on engine oil filter engineered primarily for modern smaller-displacement gasoline engines across Kia and Hyundai vehicle lineups.

Key Features.

• Optimized Filtration Efficiency: Utilizes a dense synthetic-cellulose blend designed to capture fine metallic fragments, carbon soot, and microscopic road impurities, safeguarding precision engine components.
• Integrated Anti-Drain Back Valve: Features a dependable internal check valve that stops oil from draining back out of the filter canister and into the oil pan when the engine is switched off, securing immediate oil pressure on startup.
• Bypass Pressure Relief Valve: Built-in mechanical valve safely opens under high-pressure scenarios (such as cold-weather startups with high-viscosity oil) to ensure the engine is never starved of lubrication.
• Compact Spin-On Canister: Built with a space-saving, heavy-gauge steel shell designed to fit tightly packed modern engine bays without compromising structural integrity.
