Excel Battery Terminal Positive

Description

An Excel Positive Battery Terminal (often associated with heavy-duty automotive electrical accessories, replacement clamps, or specific battery brands like Excel or EverStart-style equivalents) is designed to secure a reliable, high-conductivity connection between your vehicle’s positive electrical harness and the battery post.

Key Identification & Features.

• Size Difference (Polarity Identification):On standard top-post automotive batteries, the positive terminal is physically larger (thicker) than the negative terminal.
• Color Coding: Positive terminals, clamps, and protective covers are universally color-coded red (and/or marked with a “+” plus sign) to prevent dangerous short-circuiting.
• Material Construction: Quality positive terminals are usually forged from lead, brass, or zinc-coated copper to maximize current flow (often handling 300+ amps) and resist under-hood corrosion.
